Kyla Ida

I hold an M.A. degree in Forensic Psychology and am in the final stages of completing my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, awaiting the confirmation of my Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential. I also am trained in EMDR therapy.

I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavior issues, and I work with a broad range of clients from ages 5 to 87. While I primarily work with children and young adults, I also offer family and couples counseling. My therapeutic approach is flexible and client-centered, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and EMDR. I am always open to learning and incorporating new approaches or referring clients to other counselors if that better meets their needs.

I see clients via teletherapy (remotely) on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 am - 6 pm and my schedule is pretty open, so I have a lot of availability!

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy traveling, hiking, and exploring new places with my husband. I also love reading and listening to true crime podcasts, which keep me both informed and entertained.

I look forward to meeting you and supporting you!
