Meghan Vinson

I hold an associate degree in Human Services Technology and a bachelor’s degree in Social Work, both from Ohio University. Currently, I'm pursuing my master’s in Social Work at Ohio University, with graduation anticipated in January 2026. I'm duly licensed as an LCDC III and an LSW, bringing a solid foundation of knowledge and expertise to my practice.

My specializations include working with co-occurring disorders, trauma, and sobriety. With about six years of experience in these areas, I've honed my skills in trauma-informed care, having completed Certified Trauma Professional Training Levels 1 & 2.

 

Over my nine-year career, I've worked in various settings, including schools, different levels of addiction treatment, and now outpatient mental health. Although I've only recently arrived at Mares Cares, I'm passionate about making a positive impact here.

Outside of my professional life, I cherish spending time with my family, and I love to read, be outdoors, swim, and travel. These activities help me stay grounded and bring balance to my life.
