Carol Oehler

Hello! My name is Carol Oehler, and I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisor designation (LISW-S). I bring many years of experience in mental health, substance use treatment, and the medical field. My primary focus is supporting adults who are navigating trauma, loss, anxiety, depressive disorders, and significant health concerns.

I see clients at our Main Street office, where I offer both in-person sessions and teletherapy appointments for your convenience. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space, whether we are meeting face-to-face or virtually, so that you feel empowered in your healing journey.

I take a holistic, mind-body approach to therapy, integrating both traditional and innovative methods to support healing and resilience. In my practice, I often draw on EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), energy psychology techniques such as EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), Polyvagal Therapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). These approaches allow me to address the mind, brain, and nervous system together, helping clients find sustainable strategies for recovery and growth.

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll likely find me adopting homeless plants or watching a variety of sports. I also enjoy walking as a way to manage my own stress and maintain balance.

I look forward to supporting you on your journey!
