We are seeking a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) to join our small but dedicated mental health agency. The LISW will maintain their own active caseload, delivering direct therapy services to clients.


Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Services:

  • Manage a caseload of clients, providing individual, group, and/or family therapy as appropriate.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with agency policies and regulatory standards.

  • Collaborate with other professionals, including psychiatrists, primary care providers, and case managers, to coordinate care for clients.

  • Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices.

  • Uphold the agency’s mission to provide compassionate, client-centered care.


Qualifications:

  • Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in the state of Ohio.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.

    • Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices and interventions.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and documentation practices.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a small or community-based mental health agency.

  • Specialized training or certification in a specific therapeutic modality (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care).
